so, its been a while...

The more and more experiences I have in life, the more I come to realize that I can't live without my church family. By saying that I'm saying "thank you" to all of my friends who have been there for me whenever, whatever, however. I don't think God designed the church this way by accident...

Work is crazy. The first couple months were great. This is how I like to explain it. Think of how excited you are to start driving. man...its great...you have all the freedom in the world, you can go anywhere you want, you have so much more responsibility...and then after a couple months its gets old. You start whinning about driving and the excitement is gone because its something you "have" to do. Thats how it is at work now...at first it was so exciting because it was new and I had so much more responsibility and freedom... and now its old...and I'm tired of working. And now, with tax season...it kinda makes me want to use lots of hair dye to cover up the pre-mature grey hairs I have aquired from stress. Is that normal? no. thats what im saying... and now, i have to work nearly every saturday till the end of april. great huh?

So what are ya'll up to?  Are you over the depression that the meeting is over? I'm not...I can tell you that much. I can't wait till the 21st street meeting...I expect you all to be there!

Love ya'll...be safe...pray always.

Hello again,

If you can't tell, I've been a little busy. AND unfortunatley, posting is not at the top of my list. This is why I have such a hard time keeping xangas...I get too distracted. But, I will try my best. These are the things that have been goin on:

1. Our transfer to Irving was wonderful. I can honestly say that it is probably the best thing going for me right now. I love the worship and the fellowship that goes on there, and it's so exciting experiencing so much growth! Last sunday was the start of Terry Bazes meeting, and let me just say, it started off with a boom. We heard an excellent sermon about the Riches of the Glory of God, and a BAPTISM. It was awesome! It was a very powerful service. This whole week has been just full of growth and edification. I'm so glad Mr. Terry is here! If you haven't been to the meeting yet, and you are able to go, I HIGHLY recommend you do so... there's a theme of humility and growth in Jesus... its powerful!

3. There are several people that need prayers right now...

 - Mark Bailey.... he's suffering from severe depression, and he would so appreciate your prayers right now as the doctors try to figure out the reason... please pray for Janice too as she is trying to find the best solution...

 - Terry Baze... he went to the doctor all this week, and he has a syndrome where if he lifts his arm above his head, all the blood is cut off from his arm, and it can cause a stroke. He is going to have to have surgery to remove his top rib to allow adequate blood flow. Please keep him in your prayers.

 - Evan Beggs.... he is a friend in my choir class who asked me to keep him in my prayers. He's struggling with what he needs/wants to do for the Lord, and temptation as well. He said he's very weak spiritually right now.... if you wouldn't mind, keep him in your prayers along with me. I'm trying to open up other ideas to him...

2. Laura is probably my new best friend. Oh my goodness, we've had so much fun this week. Every day after work I go to her house, and we do Tae Bo and fix dinner and then go to the meeting. It's great, lemme tell ya! I'm pretty happy about it. I think we should definitely do it more often! :)

3. School... nothing exciting is goin on right now in this area of my life. BUT, during choir the other day, my teacher had me sightread a piece with her that requires 4 hands on the piano...so I quite possibly will be playing with her at our concert. cool huh? I'm pretty excited...

4. Josie Baze is basically my sister nowadays. I see her nearly every weekend now...YAY! Pretty sure she should just move up here... it would probably save her some money.

5. I miss my friends... Texas is such a lonely place sometimes... Pretty sure all you fake Oklahoma people need to move BACK down to Texas... It's not the same without you here. Oh, and, maybe its the fact that everyone and their dog is getting MARRIED! goodness...

6. I'm starting to ramble. THAT means I need to stop. By the way...if you don't have my email, and want it... my dad created a new domain because he's a nerd like that... so, my new email is.... Lindsay@crouches.net. Yep yep... that's it...

Alright, most of you, I will see this weekend! YAY. love you all...

God Bless...

Unfortunately, I typed a very long entry, and it deleted it all...SO you get a very mini version of the one I typed before.... dumb.

Ok, so the Muse concert was absolutely fantastic! I loved it so much, they are AMAZING performers. Pretty sure they put up the best light show I've ever seen in my whole life. Oh man, it was so good. I recommend it! It was a lot of fun....besides the fact that me and Bailey were starving and sore from standing on an incline.... it was worth it...

While I'm still on the subject of concerts..... in November, 30 Seconds to Mars and Imogen Heap are coming to town! And I'm totally siked about it... so if any of you are interested in going...let me know! Theyre both going to be amazing... so if youre interested...hit me up!

well, I had a story on here, but I really dont feel like typing it all out again...basically, this guy pulled out beside me in teh median and blocked my view of on-coming traffic...and he just thought it was hilarious. Leave it to old men in 7 foot trucks... sheesh...

Also, this Sunday is me andmy family's last Sunday at Greenoaks, so I would very much appreciate your prayers as we switch congregations...

Love and miss you all... God Bless.

Howdy

Well, I really don't have much to update about, but since you guys are complaining that I'm slacking I guess I will...

School has started, as it has for most of you people out there... and I can't say I hate it too much. Of course, my english professor is a complete nut and my government professor is obsessive and completely "profound"... but I can't complain. Senior year is goin pretty good... get up at 5....get out at 12:20, go to work.... in the mean time planning for Bailey's birthday on FRIDAY!! and TOTALLY looking forward to the MUSE concert im going to in a couple weeks! Yes...

As you know Labor Day is coming up, and I think I know everyone who is staying with me, but if you just happen to need a place to stay and youre a girl... hit me up. We are more than happy to have you stay here!

Can't wait to see you all! Love you... God bless.

Lindsay

oh and it rained....immensely. I felt like a drowned rat...pretty hilarious when you have to drive around all day to your classes. Unfortunately, my umbrella which I USUALLY keep in the car was out because I used it in my senior pics. Its great how that works out...
